Kohler Village Centennial History Book
Worked with a team of current and former village residents and Kohler Co. employees to create this amazing book. My role was project manager. I have always enjoyed writing and editing but it’s been awhile since I’ve been given the opportunity to do it on a larger scale.
Kohler Village Remembers. A really wonderful commemorative book written for the centennial of the village where I grew up. 100+ pages of history, stories, memories and wonderful photos of our village and its residents. The book is hard cover, navy blue cloth bound with a foil imprint and a color dust jacket featuring a vintage photograph of the Stores building on High Street. There are approximately 380 images in this book.
For several months, I worked with a team as an editor, writer, researcher, image restorer, pretty much everything except layout, which was done by another former village resident,
Angie Packer/Horizon Design. Of course, Angie and I did not do this project alone. More information about the team, along with instructions on how to buy a copy of the book, can be found on the website that I set up at centennialbook.kohlervillage.org
